I am a visual artist, work autonomously, and in addition to the many professional teachers I have followed over 40 years, I complete my study career with my Artstudy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Arendonk. Because I consider craftsmanship important as the basis of my work.
My working style has developed from illustrator and fine painting to loose, direct and testy work. Impressionistic figurative work. The diversity of my work is characteristic; I am multi-disciplined. The mastery of many techniques and expressions on a flat surface is what I am like. I choose the medium that suits my expressions because I paint, etch, draw and write and with the iPhone I record my world.
The process is important to me, not an end goal.
